Vertical Transition
Placement procedures related to the vertical transfer of students graduating from Vocational Schools and open education associate degree programs to the Program are carried out by ÖSYM. Information on student admission through vertical transfer is included in the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) Guide published by ÖSYM every year. In order for candidates to register to the Program through vertical transfer, they must take this exam, prefer the Program and be placed in the Program by ÖSYM.
Students who enroll in the Program through Vertical Transfer can transfer the appropriate courses from the associate degree program they graduated from. For the transfer application, students are required to submit the transcripts and course contents of the courses they took in the associate degree program to the Faculty Secretary. Which courses will be transferred with which grades are evaluated and decided first by the Department Board and then by the Faculty Administrative Board. While transfer and adjustment procedures are carried out for students who come with vertical transfer; The period of study for these students is arranged in a way that the duration of their education is not less than 2 years.
